Race Start Times: 7:30 AM Kids Kitty Krawl Fun Run

                         8:00 AM 5K Doggy Dash
Location: MacLean Park| 93 Lake Rd., Lake Jackson, TX

Parking: Parking is available next to the pavilion at MacLean Park

​

Bathrooms: Bathrooms will be available in the small pavilion

​

The Course: The race ENDS at the large pavilion. The 5 km (3.1 mi) course will begin just before the parking lots located in front of the pavilions. Runners will go around the large pavilion and back into the wooded trail. They will turn around at the turn around point and come back. Once the runners exit the wooded trail, they will go around the soccer fields and end at the large pavilion. This course is not yet certified.

Water Station: There will be water available at both the turn around (half way point) and the start/finish line for both humans and their 4-legged running buddies.

Thank you for participating in the Lake Jackson Doggy Dash! The following instructions are designed to help make your race as safe and easy as possible.

 

Run/Walk Instructions and Information

 

  1. All runners and walkers will wear their race numbers in the front, clearly visible to the timers and finish line personnel.

  2. Pin the number at the small holes on the race bib.

  3. We advise against the use of headphones at this event. Should you choose to use them, you do so at your own risk. Keep the volume at a reasonable level so that you can hear other runners near you on the course. Important Courtesy: Please remove headphones as you enter the finish line chute so you can hear finish line instructions.

  4. Please allow FASTER runners to start closest to the start line. Walkers and those running with dogs need to start from the rear of the starting group.

  5. Please keep your dog on a SHORT LEASH to avoid tangles and tripping.

  • 1st Place Overall - Male & Female

  • 1st Place Masters - Male & Female

  • 1st-3rd Place - Male & Female - U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
